Excellent Product Support on Taco 571-2 Zone Valve |

SDS offered the best price and excellent shipping options for my purchase of a Taco 571-2 Zone valve. These valves have a service life of about 20,000 cycles or 4-5 years, so when one of the three current valves begins to leak from the bellows, I will be sure to reorder from SDS.
Typically, I only replace the valve core and electronic switch, since the 3/4" housing does not see any wear. The valve is spring-loaded, so I use a couple of C-clamps to hold the core in place as I back out the four retaining screws. Changeout is about a 30-minute process, with precautions taken to drain the respective zone of residual water in the radiant floor system.
